Online Shopping - SeralaVogue

Shopaholics at it again!! Being a mother means I have lesser time at the shopping mall. Shopping with a baby ain't easy. Most of the time I will be hearing Baby S fussing when Im not even half done with the shopping. So online shopping is easier.

I bought a total of 4 dresses with SeralaVogue. The quality of the dresses is good and the cutting fits me very well. Most importantly all their clothing are sold at VERY affordable price. Its tough to find clothing for petite girls like me.

PS: One man's meat is another man's poison. Its suit me doesn't mean it suit everyone. Hence do your homework before purchasing online.

Retail Therapy

It never fails to cheer me up. I took a "off" day and did some a lot of shopping for me and Baby S.

After knocking off I head to Supperclub flea market to do some shopping. Can really find lots of good stuff at affordable price. I bought 3 dresses which are below $20, a romper at $5 and a Naraya bag at $16.50.

After the 1st round of shopping, vain pot mummy went to do eyelash extension. Im going to get busy with transporting Baby S thru and for nanny's place. With this eyelash extension I can do w/o makeup and this will save me a lot of time in the morning. I also had a good 1 hour chat session(yes its all about our child) with my beautician.

2nd round of shopping was all out for Baby S. Got him some utensils, socks, rompers, DVD and cereal. All these cost me $160++.

Retail therapy is good for the soul but bad for the pocket.

Bought from Mothercare. I love their products especially their rompers and socks.

$5 bucks only!! What a good deal!

Decided and Ordered!!!

The current Capella pram has some of it fabrics torn. Well some were already torn when it came to us. After 6 months of usage, we found more fabrics torn. HB couldn't stand the sight of it and ask me to source for a new one.

Initially planned to get a Maclaren's stroller after Baby S could sit w/o support. Now our plan have to step in earlier. No we didn't get Maclaren, we have decided to go for Peg Perego P3!!!!

The spacious sitting area and sturdiness of Peg Perego P3 are the factors that attracted me. For the sturdiness we need to give in to the weight of the pram. Its 8.5Kgm!!! That is 2 times heavier than Combi's pram. The retail price of the pram cost $750!!! But I managed to purchase it from a direct distributor at a lower price.

Pram will be deliver to us probably next week!!!

Old Navy Loot

Finally its here!!!! I don't have the time to go shopping at the mall, but its perfectly alright. Online shopping is even more convenient!!! This month I spent at least a few hundreds bucks on online shopping itself. I'm really an ultimate shopaholics!!

Baby S u better be filial to me cos 80% of my shopping are all your stuff!!!

July Spree Loot

Now I either buy direct from Disney website, or I buy from departmental store. Most of these branded clothing selling online(blogshop) and elsewhere(flea market/fairs/pushcart) are not authentic. So I rather wait a litter longer and buy direct from their website. Yes my Old Navy loot is on the way!!!

Dining at Chilis

After the class, we headed for our lunchner. Tks God, that we do not have a cranky baby. I know some parents who never able to have a proper meal with their baby ard.

Baby S was so interested in our food, he keep eyeing on the fries. He still have to wait till he turn 1 yrs old, before we would consider to give him any junk food.

We ordered buffalo wings and honey baked ribs. The ribs was tasty but the wings were awfully salty. >.<"' Overall its still a good dining experience and its pretty affordable.

After our meal, we headed to Takashimaya for some shopping.

Alway so chirpy!!!

Drooling Baby S.

Motherhood Baby Fair 2010

To avoid the crazy crowd, I went on 03/06 evening. Still some booth that sell cheap stuff are crowded. This time round I didn't buy a lot of stuff, just bought 5 bottles of Heinz organic purees and Nepia diaper.

I finally found a school that actually take in cleft baby. This is how sad Singapore is, world No 1 in everything... health care also first right??? Then how come school not trained to take care of special child???? Apparently the school I inquired is very confident that they can take good care of Sheldon and they even have qualified nurses station in the school. I'm considering whether to go for their open house. I'm not sure whether to let Sheldon goes to school before palate surgery or after palate surgery. Even if its after palate surgery, I'm pretty impressed by the school representative.

Got to tks Grace for passing down so much clothing and its branded baby clothing. I save quite a bit for not purchasing clothes. Though I'm not a brand conscious person but there is really a huge difference in material. Now I fall in love with Carters, Pumpkin Patch and Gap.

Long Weekend - Part 2 (Taime Sales)

We are suppose to visit Rieann but unfortunately she fall sick. Get well soon alright!!

Get to know that Taime is having sales, so we headed East AGAIN!!! I actually wanted to go on Saturday but didnt as I did not know the address.

Bringing baby out is like going to war, there is just so much stuff to pack!!! We went to pick Mom and Sis up before heading down for the sales. Ubber BTH my Mom, everyday see Baby S still want to find excuse to carry him thru out the journey. My youngest sis was great, she help to push the pram around, wanted to help me carry my baby bag, carry Baby S and even want to coax him to sleep in the car. Compared to others 12 years old kids, I think she is much better well off. Although we often nag at her academic result but she still have her strength.

My Mom couldn't make up her mind and keep asking me for suggestion. I told her, "if you think its necessary JUST BUY and that end her pestering. We spend $150 getting for the below baby stuff.

-Rocker
-Bumbo seat
-Fan (My sis insisted on red, her crappy logic was because we need to love Singapore >.<"')
-Pillow and Bolster
-Alphabet mat
-Teether (1 for Rieann, 1 for Sheldon)
-Romper (For Timothy)

Long Weekend - Part 1

We took Baby S to Dr Teo for vaccination and follow up on the thrush issue. Relay what Dr Lee SJ's (Sheldon's surgeon) advice to Dr Teo, he also agree that the white patches might not be thrush. According to Dr Teo it could be the pressure caused by the plate. Anyway its good to continue the Nystatin as a prevention. So this end our thrush case.

Baby S took the 2nd dose of 6in1 Hexa jab, boy he was so cranky the whole day. We just managed to coax him to bed.

We left Baby S at Mom's place, so we could delivered kibbles to ALL and do some purchase at IKEA. Sadly the high chair we bought the other time its no longer available. Hb bought Oreo a new bowl and a lamp AGAIN. Guess we have to try our luck at Alexandra's branch, do let us know if anyone has one to let go. Now we have to buy 2 sets of baby stuff, 1 for my Mom's place and 1 at my place.

The other day was telling Hb that this month I'll be bankrupt as its GSS month!! My generous Hb say, "swap the supplementary card I gave you."!!! Credit cards are good servant but don't let it become your master.

Hb had OVERPRICED meatball spaghetti.

I had baked roasted chicken thigh and IKEA coffee sux big time.

First toy

Since Sheldon started kicking, I thought it was really good to get him this toy. The toy will sound off different music and sound upon his kick.

My Mom find that $69.90 for a simple toy like this is not worth it. Im willing to spend so long Sheldon enjoy playing with it, .

Saturday - Shopping Day

1st stop, we went to the wholesale center to get some long sleeve clothing for Sheldon.

2nd stop, HB went to Sim Lim to get his hard disk.

3rd stop, we went to OG to get Sheldon's baby cot bed set.

4th stop, we went to Iluma, HB went there to get some toy. We dine at this Japanese Maid theme restaurant, Tora Shabu. The food is fantastic but have to compromise on the quantity. No photography allowed in the restaurant, I guess its a respect for the "maid" waitress.

Antenatal Check Up - Week 28

Sheldon had already turn down and weighing 1.134Kgm. This time round he didnt have hiccups like the last check up. Its so cute to see him hiccup during the ultrasound scan.

We conclude that Sheldon look more like HB than me from his head shape and his big round eyes.

As usual, Dr Wong measure my BP, he look at my hand and asked "did you lost weight?". This Mother to be got weight problem, the gynae constantly worrying that I do not gain enough weight.

Dr Wong: Got min 51 kgm or not (jokingly)
Me: Stand up the weighing scale, cross the finger. Read out loud the measurement on the scale. 51.9Kgm!!!

Im also worried abt the weight gain, as some Mother to be lost weight in the last 4 weeks of pregnancy. Already border line passing, I cannot imagine losing weight.

To Our Dear Son,
Mummy and Daddy is very proud of you. Esp Daddy!!! When Dr Wong ask whether you are kicking, Daddy say "yah very active baby" proudly. We will cuddle you in our hands in another 3 months time. Mummy really cant wait!!!!

28 weeks old with eyes open.

For being a cooperative boy for turning down, Daddy got you a pair of socks!!!

The "I" Society

Yesterday HB and I went to Ikea for our favourite Hot dog bread. We bought quite a bit of stuff and decided to take a cab back home.

A pregnant Caucasian mother to be was queuing in front of us. I guess she is at least 7-8 mths preggy judging from her tummy size and swollen legs. A group of girls was in front of her. They happily got on their cab and left the trolley behind. The Caucasian mother to be had to help them push the trolley back.

HB notice that the pregnant lady had a very heavy item on her trolley, so he went up and help to carry it to the taxi's booth. The taxi uncle despite seeing her with a big tummy, didnt came down to help......

After hopping into the taxi, HB were telling me that the item is really heavy and luckily her HB is waiting for her at the destination. I told HB the taxi driver 不会自动, as he didn't offer his help to the pregnant lady.

To my disgust, the taxi driver who is driving replied, "not that we taxi driver don't want to help, later if we help her and get ourselves injured we do not have company medical leave. We cant work for that few days and still have to pay for taxi rent. 人不为己,天诛地灭......"

Thru the whole journey, he goes on and on non stop on how tough is being a taxi driver, how taxi company exploit them and if we passenger would like to have better service, then taxi company have to do increase their benefit.

I was totally disgusted by what he say!!!

Our society has become so self centered that everyone only think of themselves. Its only me, myself and I!!!!

Luckily HB was around to help, I cant imagine how a pregnant woman is able to lift up such heavy item which HB comment its heavy.....

Philips Carnival Sale 2009

Tks to the Mummy forum, I happen to know that Avent is under Philips.

Philips warehouse sales is from 07/11 to 08/11 @ 620A Lorong 1 Toa Payoh Singapore 319762.

If you are taking public transport, you can alight at Toa Payoh Mrt Station and change to Bus 231 (white plate).

I went down to look for Avent Baby walkie talkie. It was a great deal, got the model SCD530 at only $150, RP at $299.

Though Im impressed by the video monitoring device (not by Avent), but the device is way too out of our budget.

One more baby item off my mind!!!!

Free fan with every $150 purchase of Avent products.

BB's clothing

Finally we went to shop for some BB JL clothing, this cheapo mummy refuse to spend a bomb on something tt BB JL is going to outgrown so fast. I rather dump those money at pram, vaccine, check up and education.

First clothing from Aunty Pretty (she prefer to stay anonymous), once again tks so much!!!

Romper from BHG's sales, $5 each. Cheap and good quality.

4 for $10 bought from Clementi's pasar malam. Ideal for wearing at home.
