爱美不是女人的专利

My Dad is a well known 爱美man, my friends call him 帥哥instead of Uncle. He is addicted to the Pure White Masque….. not bad wor, he apply more religiously than his 爱美daughter, cos yesterday I just help him buy another bottle and mine still have quite a fair bit left over.

My Dad not those typical Uncle in the 40s, who has a big belly and don’t dress up. He hit the gym at least 2-3 times a week and has a 6-pac figure, trim his hair neatly and dresses well for all occasion. I really salute some man who nvr bothers abt their hair or who “bothers but machiam nvr bothers”.

At least Im not too worried abt him unlike my mother, who nvr tk good care of her health. My dad don’t have a clean health bill but not as bad as my mom. Every now and then my mom need to go hospital for these check up for tt follow up. My dad has a minor cholesterol issues, and he is taking care of it very well. He takes supplement, see Sensei for regular treatment, watch out his diet and most impt he exercise to keep fit. So I rather he Ai Shui and keep a healthy living out of being a vain pot.

The point is if you don’t tk care of urself, nobody will. No one is responsible for your own health other than urself. Being overweight is not a fun thing, it often tagged long with high blood pressure, cholesterol problem and heart problem. I promise you soon, after these 3 good friends are with you, stroke and heart attack are highly to make friend with you. Then again when it happen its too late, u no longer able to live a life like before. Your family will have to tk care of you and if the attack is so fatal you might even lose the quality of your life. A very good eg which is my granddad, remember when I was young, he use to go ard and pick up toys and etc for us, he will be the one walking ard the neighbourhood to look for me when its time to head home. But now, he can be only be feed by tube, this didn’t happen overnight, its 1 good friend bring in another and transform into a mega issues. I feel sorry for him, after slogging more than half of his life time, his retirement time has to be spent like this. He no longer able travel with my granny and all he can is to sit, wait to be fed / cared for and waiting for the last moment.

Faceshop Shopping

HB and I were shopping ard before our movie show time. I have been looking for a liquid foundation for night use. The current one Im using is good only for normal days as it really look very natural. Im very particular abt make up esp foundation cos I dont wanna my face to look like a piece of cake. I see many girls with having 2 tones of shade after applying their foundation. Anyway Im still very satisfy with the result of the foundation. HB says its look brighter compare to my existing foundation.

Another new try was the foundation brush. Didnt know such brush existed. Hahahaha.... I have been using sponge for my liquid foundation all along. The salesgirl did a demo of how to use the brush on my hand.  I were not very keen to purchase in the first place as anything new mean slowing down my make up pace in the morning rush hour. HB was rather encouraging abt the new brush.  Im still surviving well with the brush...... heehee....

We manage to over hit $60 and was given a freebie. It was a sleeping mask. Both of use find it good. Non oily, Non hassle.


Everything have a price to pay for inclusive Beauty. HB gladly paid for it.

Mani and Pedi

Went to did my nails on last friday for my DND. I do not use to have a manicurist that I alway visit. Cos most of the manicurist really out for my pocket than my nails.

I have been sticking to WeiWei since last year. Everyone praise her beautiful job done for my wedding. Thru me she gotten a few more loyal customer. Nevertheless her fantastic skill is the one tt make her customer stay.

She give practical advise when doing nails. Before I went taiwan, I went to to do my nails. I wanted to do some nail art, but she told me its not practical cos it drop easily since Im going to do alot of packing and unpacking. My toe nail's nail art was on the side, as it will not drop off easily even if I wear covered shoes.

I wanted to do nail art for all my 10 nails but she say it will clash badly with my costume. As my peranakan costume is full of colorful flowers. So she did 2 simple nail art.


She did a french pedi for me.


And a fantastic nail art.


PS: She does a good job with VERY reasonable price. She also will not pester you to buy products.

Health is Wealth

It seriously freak me out after hearing Dad is suffering from high cholesterol and minor choked blood vessel problem. Many pple think that Bypass operation is a minor operation, in fact many pple die during such minor yet deadly operation.

I bought Vit E and some other supplement for him to tk. I insisted he take it on a daily basis until he is due for his next check up. Becos of his 6 pack figure, nobody will believe that my Dad is actually down with such problem, . His cholesterol problem actually is due to his diet problem. Pig trotters and seafood are his favourite!!! Though these supplement aint cheap but Im willing to pay for it. Becos I do not wish to see him going for any operation.

Money is small issues, health is more impt than anything on earth.  

Mom is also going to start taking protein. Im very against slimming products! As she need to lose some weight, I recommend her to tk protein. As it rather feeling after drinking it, hence cutting down on food intake. Good for health and good for weight loss. 喝protein皮肤会变亮喔!!

刮痧 Facial

Yesterday Mom came my place for 刮痧 facial. I have try this facial for a few times and really like it very much. This facial will help not only to moisturise your face, it will also help to lift up your face. Yee Ran help Mom to do half of the face so that result can be compared. To see is to believe.

Mom's right side of the face is MUCH smaller, right eye more lifted up and the most obvious is the cheek line (right side is so much shorter than the left side).
